Lunch in honour of HE Kairat Kelimbetov, Governor of the Astana International Finance Centre
Rupert Goodman, Chairman of FIRST and the British-Kazakh Society, hosted a lunch on November 8th at the Cornhill Room in London in honour of His Excellency Kairat Kelimbetov, Governor of the Astana International Finance Centre. He was accompanied by HE Erlan Idrissov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr Maxat Kabashev, CEO of Kazakh Invest. The lunch was also attended by a number of business leaders, including Mr Birzhan Kaneshev, Deputy CEO, Kazakh Invest, Mr Francesco Bentivegna, Director, Bentivegna Consulting and Mr Nick Clarke, Executive Chairman, Central Asia Metals. Diplomatic and government leaders were also present, including The Lord Brennan QC and Baroness Emma Nicholson, Trade Envoy of the UK Prime Minister to Kazakhstan.
