FIRST Award for Responsible Capitalism 2009

The FIRST International Award for Responsible Capitalism 2009 was presented to Sir Andrew Witty, Chief Executive Officer of GlaxoSmithKline.

A special FIRST Award for Philanthropy was presented to Roger Sant, Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the AES Corporation.

A special FIRST Outstanding Achievement in the Face of Adversity Award was presented to Karim Khoja, Chief Executive Officer of Roshan. The awards were presented by Rt Hon George Osborne MP, Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer at a ceremony and reception held at Marlborough House, London.
