Fellowship of the British-Kazakh Society
Rt Hon Lord Astor of Hever PC DL was appointed a BKS Fellow at a special ceremony at the House of Lords on 23rd January 2025, for his outstanding contribution to the BKS.
He was presented with a special certificate by Rupert Goodman, Chairman of BKS, in the presence of Chris Allan, Director at FCDO, HE Kathy Leach, HM Ambassador to Kazakhstan HE Magzhan Ilyassov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Court of St James and Mr Sayaset Nurbek, Minister of Higher Education.
