Special Reception at St. James’s Palace hosted by HRH The Duke of York to celebrate the British-Kazakh Society

HRH The Duke of York, The Honorary Patron of the British-Kazakh Society, hosted a reception on 1st May 2018 in the Queen Anne Room, St. James’s Palace to celebrate the work of the British-Kazakh Society and Kazakhstan’s National Unity Day. Rupert Goodman, Chairman of the British-Kazakh Society and HE Erlan Idrissov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan addressed the guests. Distinguished attendees included Rt Hon Lord Astor of Hever DL, Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Kazakhstan, Lord Brennan QC, Judith Slater, HM Trade Commissioner for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Rupert Ainley, FCO Additional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Saparbek Tuyakbay, Chairman of Kazakh Invest, Peter Hambro, Chairman of Peter Hambro Ltd, Gopichard Hinduja, Co-Chairman of Hinduja Group and Rt Hon Charles Hendry, UK Commissioner Astana EXPO 2017.
