Strategic Partnership Business Roundtable
The Chairman of the British Kazakh Society Society, Rupert Goodman OBE DL chaired the UK-Kazakhstan Business Roundtable during the Kazakhstan Foreign Minister’s official visit to the UK.
The keynote speech was delivered by HE Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Rt Hon Sir Chris Bryant MP, Minister of State, Department for Business and Trade, spoke on behalf of UK Government.
The Business Roundtable was attended by HE Sally Axworthy MBE, His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, along with business leaders from both nations.
Major trade/investment opportunities and bilateral cooperation were discussed. The meeting focused on expanding trade, economic, and investment partnerships between Kazakhstan and the UK in strategic sectors-including critical minerals, rare earth elements and education.
